Another great stay at Burrs Country Park
An excellent site, spacious pitches and not too tightly packed. Good kicking off spot for visiting north Manchester area, and also easy to get into the centre of Manchester on the tram. Great to see the steam trains on the East Lancashire Railway. The country park has some lovely walks and an excellent pub and cafe. Even though the site was more or less full it was nice and peaceful, with birdsong, and an owl hooting at night.
